Where does the data come from?
Links come from the Join Postly Index (pages JoinPostlyBot has crawled), Wikipedia's public external-links data, and any Search Console or Bing exports you upload. Common Crawl's free open web data is being added to find more referring domains. Coverage grows as we crawl more of the web, and every link shows where it came from.

Where does Postly Rank get its backlink data?
From its own crawler (the Join Postly Index), Wikipedia's public external-links data, and link exports you upload from your own Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools. Common Crawl open data is being added. Each link is labelled with its source.
Why does the backlink checker show fewer links than other tools?
Our index is younger and smaller than the big commercial link databases, so coverage is lower, especially for small sites. When a site has very few links, we queue it for crawling and the report says so.
Does Postly Rank disavow links for me?
No. It scores links with reasons and builds a disavow file you can review and download. Only you decide what to upload to Google.
