Where does the data come from?
Numbers come from the Join Postly Index: the pages our own crawler, JoinPostlyBot, has crawled. Popularity, Difficulty and positions are Join Postly Index estimates, not Google search volume or Google rankings. There is no Google Ads search volume or CPC in Postly Rank. Trend lines come from Join Postly Trends: anonymous counts of keywords used in Join Postly, shown only when at least 5 different workspaces used a term that week.

Keyword Research & Overview FAQ
Is the Postly Rank popularity score the same as Google search volume?
No. Popularity is a 0–100 estimate of how widely a phrase is used across pages in the Join Postly Index, weighted by the strength of the sites using it. Google search volume is only available from Google.
How is keyword difficulty calculated in Postly Rank?
From the real top 10 for the keyword in the Join Postly Index: how strong those sites are, how deep their content is, how many have the exact phrase in the title, and how full the results are. Under 30 is easy, 70 and above is very hard.
Can I research keywords for a specific country?
Yes. Choose a country and language before you search. Popularity by country uses the location signals of indexed pages, so some keywords show mostly Worldwide while our index grows.
