Where does the data come from?
Numbers come from the Join Postly Index: the pages our own crawler, JoinPostlyBot, has crawled. Popularity, Difficulty and positions are Join Postly Index estimates, not Google search volume or Google rankings. Candidate keywords come from your topics, your audited page titles and the competitors' pages.

Keyword Gap FAQ
What is the difference between Missing and Untapped keywords?
Missing keywords rank for every competitor you entered but not for you. Untapped keywords rank for at least one competitor but not for you. Missing keywords are usually the stronger signal.
Are Keyword Gap positions Google rankings?
No. Positions are from searches in the Join Postly Index, our own crawl of the web. They show relative strength between the domains you compare, not where a page appears on Google.
How many competitors can I add to a Keyword Gap run?
One competitor on Free, with up to 20 keywords per run and the first 25 rows shown. Rank Pro and Rank Agency compare you with up to 4 competitors and 80 or 150 keywords per run.
