Where does the data come from?
Google numbers come only from the Search Console files you upload; Postly Rank never scrapes Google or calls Google's servers. Join Postly Index positions come from our own search, checked once a day.

Rank Tracking FAQ
Does Postly Rank scrape Google to track rankings?
No. Google positions come only from the Search Console export you upload yourself. The second column shows positions in the Join Postly Index, our own crawl, and is labelled as such.
Do I need to connect my Google account to track positions?
No. You upload the export file from Search Console. A direct Google connection isn't available, so nothing in your Google account is accessed by Join Postly.
How many keywords can I track for free?
Up to 10 keywords across your sites on Free, 300 on Rank Pro and 1,500 on Rank Agency.
