Free questions explorer: what people ask
Postly Rank Questions Explorer shows the questions, comparisons and searches people type about any keyword, grouped like a wheel: what, how, why, for, vs, A to Z and related searches. It is for writers, marketers and SEOs who want real questions to answer, with honest sources and one-click next steps.
Who is Questions Explorer for?
- Bloggers and content teams looking for questions to answer
- Businesses building FAQ pages that AI answers and search engines can quote
- Marketers checking what people ask about a competitor brand
What does Questions Explorer do?
Questions, prepositions, comparisons, A–Z
What, how, why, when, where, who, which, can, will, are, is and does; for, with, without, near, to, vs and like; vs, or, and; the keyword plus every letter; and related searches.
Wheel and list views
A radial wheel like the one you know, collapsible lists on phones, and a sortable list with source, intent and an honest popularity band (or “—” when we have no data).
Honest sources
DuckDuckGo autocomplete, question headings and FAQ markup from the Join Postly Index, Stack Exchange, Wikipedia and Join Postly Trends. AI ideas are always labelled “AI suggestion”.
Next steps in one click
Write an answer with the SEO Writer, build FAQPage schema to copy, save to a keyword list, send to Clusters, add to the calendar or turn questions into draft social posts.
Beyond question lists
Near-duplicates grouped, intent tags, an AI-answer tip per group, “already answered on your site” ticks and a mode for questions people ask about competitors.
How Questions Explorer works
Type a keyword
Or a competitor brand plus a keyword. Pick a country and, if you like, your domain.
Explore the groups
Switch between the wheel and the list, filter by source or intent and hide AI suggestions.
Act on the best questions
Select questions and write answers, build an FAQ block, or plan them in your calendar.
Where does the data come from?
Autocomplete suggestions come from DuckDuckGo and show what people type, not how many people search. Popularity bands come only from the Join Postly Index, Join Postly Trends and Wikipedia pageviews; there is no Google data and no search volume.

Questions Explorer FAQ
Where do Questions Explorer suggestions come from?
From DuckDuckGo autocomplete, question headings and FAQ markup on pages in the Join Postly Index, the Stack Exchange and Wikipedia APIs and Join Postly Trends. Ideas written by AI are always labelled “AI suggestion”.
Does Questions Explorer show search volume?
No. Autocomplete shows what people type, not how many. Where we have our own data we show a popularity band from the Join Postly Index, Join Postly Trends or Wikipedia pageviews; otherwise you see a dash.
Can I see questions people ask about a competitor?
Yes. Switch to the competitor mode and enter the brand, optionally with a keyword, to see what people ask about it, how they compare it and which alternatives they look for.
How do I turn questions into an FAQ page?
Select the questions, choose Add to FAQ, write a short answer for each and copy the ready FAQ HTML block and its FAQPage schema to your page.
