GIF maker: turn images into an animated GIF
Drop a few images, put them in order and set how long each one shows. The GIF is built in your browser with up to 256 colours per frame, so your photos are never uploaded and there's no watermark.
How to use the GIF Maker
- 1Drop two or more images (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF), or tap the box to choose them.
- 2Put the frames in order with the arrows and remove any you don't need.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a watermark on the GIF?
No. The GIF is made entirely in your browser by our own encoder, and nothing is added to your frames.
Why does my GIF look grainy?
A GIF frame can only hold 256 colours, so photos with smooth gradients get banding. Dithering (on by default) mixes nearby colours to hide it. Flat graphics and screenshots look cleanest; for photos, a short video often looks better than a GIF.
How can I make my GIF file smaller?
Use a smaller width, fewer frames or fewer colours per frame, and turn off dithering for flat graphics. File size grows with every pixel of every frame.
Can I make a GIF from a video here?
Not yet. This tool turns images into a GIF. Export frames from your video as images first, or use a short MP4 instead: most social networks prefer video over GIF anyway.
