Colour picker from an image
Open a photo, screenshot or logo and tap any point to get its exact colour as HEX, RGB and HSL, with a zoomed loupe for precise picks. A palette of the image's most common colours is built for you, ready to copy. The image is read in your browser and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find the HEX code of a colour in a picture?
Open the picture here and tap the colour. The HEX code (like #1e6fd9) appears with its RGB and HSL values and a copy button.
Why is the colour I picked slightly different from the brand colour?
Photos and compressed images mix nearby pixels, add shading and change colours slightly. Pick from a flat area, use the average option, or use the original logo file for the truest colour.
How is the image palette worked out?
Every pixel is counted in your browser, similar shades are grouped and the groups are ranked by how much of the image they cover. Transparent pixels are skipped.
Can I pick a colour from a website?
Take a screenshot and paste it here with Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V), then tap the colour. To get a site's whole palette from its code, use the colour palette and font detector.
