Frequently asked questions
What size are Instagram profile grid tiles now?
Instagram's profile grid shows posts as 3:4 portrait tiles (for example 1080 × 1440 pixels) since early 2025. Square posts are cropped to fit, so check that faces and text stay inside the tile.
In what order should I post photos for a planned grid?
The newest post appears top left, so post the photo for the bottom-right spot of your plan first and the top-left one last.
Are the photos in the grid planner saved anywhere?
No. They're shown from your device's memory only, so nothing is uploaded and the grid is cleared when you close or refresh the page.
