Domain availability checker

Check whether a domain name is already registered. We ask the registry's official RDAP server: if it has no record, the name is likely available. If it's taken, you'll see when it was registered and when it expires, and you can try other endings in one tap.

How to use the Domain Availability Checker

  1. 1Type the domain you'd like, such as mybrand.com.
  2. 2Read the answer: likely available, taken or expiring.
  3. 3For a taken name, see its registration and expiry dates.
  4. 4Tap another ending such as .co, .io or .app to check it straight away, then register your choice at any registrar.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the domain availability check?

It's based on the registry's own records, so "taken" is reliable. "Likely available" means the registry has no record right now, but reserved and premium names can still be blocked or cost more, so confirm at a registrar.

Do you buy or reserve the domains I search?

No. We don't register, sell or hold names, and searches aren't shared with registrars. Results are cached briefly only to avoid repeat lookups.

What does expiring or pending delete mean?

The owner didn't renew. During redemption they can still get it back; after pending delete, usually about 35 days after expiry, the name is released and anyone can register it.
