Frequently asked questions
How do I find my Google Place ID?
Open Google's Place ID Finder (developers.google.com/maps/documentation/places/web-service/place-id), search for your business name and copy the ID that starts with letters like ChIJ. It's free and needs no account.
Why can't the tool read my maps.app.goo.gl share link?
Short share links hide the Place ID, and reading them would mean visiting Google from our server. To keep the tool private and free, paste the Place ID, or the g.page review link from your Business Profile.
Is it allowed to ask customers for Google reviews?
Yes, asking is fine. Google's rules forbid offering rewards or discounts for reviews, asking only happy customers, and posting reviews for your own business, so ask everyone in the same way.
Where can I find the review link in my Google Business Profile?
Search for your business on Google while signed in as the owner, then choose "Ask for reviews" or "Get more reviews". Google shows a short g.page link you can paste here to make a QR code.
