Which Markdown features are supported?
Headings, paragraphs, bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, fenced code blocks with a language, links, images, autolinks, block quotes, nested and numbered lists, task lists, horizontal rules and GitHub-style tables.
Is raw HTML inside Markdown kept?
No. For safety, any HTML tags in your Markdown are shown as text instead of being passed through, and links that aren't http, https, mailto or tel (such as javascript:) are dropped.
Why don't images show in the preview?
To protect your privacy, the preview shows a placeholder instead of loading images from other websites. The HTML output keeps the image tags as written.
Does the converter match GitHub's Markdown exactly?
It follows CommonMark and GitHub's common extensions closely for everyday documents, but very unusual edge cases, like deeply mixed nesting, can differ. Check the preview.
