Merge PDF files
Combine two or more PDFs into a single file in your browser. Drag the files into the order you want, remove any you don't need, and download one merged PDF. Pages are copied exactly, so text stays selectable, and your files never leave your device.
How to use the Merge PDF
- 1Drop the PDFs you want to merge, or tap the box to choose them.
- 2Drag the files, or use the arrows, into the order you want. Remove any you don't need.
- 3Name the new file if you like.
- 4Tap Merge: the combined PDF downloads straight away.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?
Yes. The files are read and combined by JavaScript in your own browser tab; nothing is sent to Join Postly or anyone else, so contracts, statements and IDs stay on your device.
Will merging change the quality of my PDFs?
No. Each page is copied as it is, with its text, fonts and images untouched, so the merged file looks exactly like the originals.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not while they're locked. Open each file in your PDF app, remove the password (you'll need to know it), save, then merge the unlocked copies.
What isn't kept when PDFs are merged?
Bookmarks (the outline panel) from the originals aren't carried over, and fillable form fields may stop working. The pages themselves, links on them and their content are kept.
