Frequently asked questions
How is ROAS calculated in Google Ads?
ROAS = conversion value ÷ cost. Google Ads shows it as "Conv. value / cost": 4.00 means $4 of revenue for every $1 spent, or 400%.
What target ROAS should I set in Google Ads?
Above your break-even ROAS (100 ÷ your profit margin %). With a 25% margin, break-even is 4.0 (400%), so a target of 450–500% leaves a profit. Setting it far above recent results can choke the campaign's volume.
Why is my Google Ads ROAS different from my shop's figures?
Google counts conversions by click date and its attribution model, and may include view-through or modelled conversions. Your shop counts orders when they happen. Compare over the same dates and settings.
