Frequently asked questions
What size should a LinkedIn post image be?
1200 × 627 pixels (about 1.91:1) for landscape link and image posts. Square 1200 × 1200 and portrait 1080 × 1350 also work and take up more space on phones.
What size is a LinkedIn banner or cover image?
A personal profile background is 1584 × 396 px and a company page cover is 1128 × 191 px. This page makes post images; keep important parts of banners in the centre, because they're cropped differently on phones.
Why is my LinkedIn image blurry?
LinkedIn compresses uploads, and small originals get enlarged. Start from an image at least 1200 px wide, save at quality 85–90, and avoid tiny text that compression smudges.
