Website technology checker
Find out what a website is built with: its CMS or website builder, e-commerce platform, JavaScript framework, analytics and ad pixels, live chat, CDN, hosting and web server. We match the page's HTML and headers against our own list of over 120 signatures.
How to use the Website Technology Checker
- 1Enter the website's address, such as example.com.
- 2See the main platform first, such as WordPress, Shopify or Wix, with its version when the site shows it.
- 3Browse every technology by category, each with the clue we found it from.
- 4Copy the list or share the result link.
Frequently asked questions
How does the technology checker work?
JoinPostlyBot reads the page once and we look for known fingerprints: generator tags, script and stylesheet addresses, response headers and cookie names. Each result shows the clue it came from.
Why wasn't a technology detected?
Some tools leave no trace in the HTML, load only after JavaScript runs, or are hidden on purpose. Server-side languages and databases are usually invisible from outside.
Can I find out which WordPress theme or plugins a site uses?
We flag well-known builders and plugins such as Elementor, Divi, WooCommerce, Yoast and Rank Math when they appear in the HTML. A full plugin list isn't possible from the outside.
