How to use the Carousel Maker
- 1Pick a template such as Tips list, Step by step or Myth vs fact, and a size: square, portrait or LinkedIn PDF.
- 2Paste an outline in the Outline panel to create one slide per heading, or edit the sample slides directly on the canvas.
- 3Click any text, shape or photo to edit it. Drag to move, use the handles to resize, and undo with Ctrl/⌘ Z. Your draft saves itself in this browser.
- 4Set your name, handle and photo for the footer, choose the slide counter and swipe arrow, then export a PDF for LinkedIn or a ZIP of PNGs for Instagram.
Frequently asked questions
How do I post a carousel on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn carousels are PDF documents. Export the PDF here, start a post on LinkedIn, choose Add a document, upload the file and give it a title. Each page shows as one swipeable slide.
What size should carousel slides be?
Use 1080 × 1350 (4:5) for Instagram so the slides fill the most feed space, or 1080 × 1080 for square. For LinkedIn PDFs, 1200 × 1500 (also 4:5) looks sharp on phones and desktops.
How many slides can a carousel have?
Instagram allows up to 20 images in one carousel and LinkedIn documents can be much longer, but 6–10 slides usually keeps people swiping to the end. The free plan here makes up to 6 slides; Pro makes up to 20.
Can I turn an outline into slides automatically?
Yes. Paste an outline in the Outline panel: each heading becomes a slide and the lines under it become the slide text. The first heading becomes the cover and a closing “Follow” or “Save” line becomes the call-to-action slide.
