Frequently asked questions
What size should a quote image be for Instagram?
Use 1080 × 1080 for a square post, 1080 × 1350 for a portrait post that fills more of the feed, and 1080 × 1920 for Stories and Reels covers. The maker has all three.
Can I use a photo behind the quote?
Yes. Add a background photo and adjust the colour overlay until the text reads easily. A dark overlay of 40–60% works for most photos. The photo stays on your device.
Is it okay to post quotes by other people?
Short quotes with clear credit are common, but only use words the person really said, credit them by name and don't suggest they endorse you. For testimonials, ask the customer first.
