JSON to CSV converter
Turn a JSON array from an API or export into a CSV file that opens in Excel or Google Sheets. Nested objects are flattened into dotted columns, every key becomes a column, and values with commas or quotes are escaped correctly. It runs privately in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
How are nested JSON objects converted to CSV columns?
With Flatten on, { "address": { "city": "Leeds" } } becomes a column named address.city. Arrays are written into one cell as JSON text.
What if my JSON objects have different keys?
Every key that appears in any object becomes a column, in the order first seen. Objects without a key get an empty cell there.
How do I open the CSV in Excel without broken characters?
Download the file and open it with Data > From Text/CSV, choosing UTF-8. Double-clicking can mangle accents in some Excel versions.
