How to use the Spin the Wheel
- 1Type or paste your entries, one per line, or edit them in the list to set colours and weights.
- 2Press Spin (or the Space bar). The pointer lands on a slice chosen with fair randomness before the animation starts.
- 3Turn on Remove winner after spin for draws without repeats, and check past results in the history.
- 4Use full-screen mode for streams or events, and Copy share link to send the same wheel to someone else.
Frequently asked questions
How many names can the wheel hold?
Up to 500. With many names the labels get smaller, and very thin slices hide their labels, but every name still has its fair chance and the winner is always shown in full.
Can each name be picked only once?
Yes. Turn on Remove winner after spin and each picked name leaves the wheel, so the next spin draws from the names that are left. Undo brings a name back.
Can I use the name wheel in class on a projector?
Yes. Full-screen mode shows a big wheel and a large winner banner, and the Space bar spins it, so it works well on a projector or a shared screen.
