Spin the wheel

How to use the Spin the Wheel
- 1Type or paste your entries, one per line, or edit them in the list to set colours and weights.
- 2Press Spin (or the Space bar). The pointer lands on a slice chosen with fair randomness before the animation starts.
- 3Turn on Remove winner after spin for draws without repeats, and check past results in the history.
- 4Use full-screen mode for streams or events, and Copy share link to send the same wheel to someone else.
Frequently asked questions
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. The winner is picked with your browser's cryptographic random generator before the wheel starts moving; the animation then lands on that slice. Every slice's chance is exactly its share of the weights.
How do weights work on the wheel?
Each entry has a weight from 1 to 100 and gets a slice in proportion to it. An entry with weight 2 is twice as likely to win as one with weight 1, and its slice is twice as wide, so what you see is what you get.
Can I share my wheel with someone?
Yes. Copy share link puts the entries, weights and colours in the link itself, so whoever opens it sees the same wheel. Nothing is stored on a server.
