How to use the Giveaway Comment Picker
- 1Open your giveaway post, select all the comments and copy them (tips for each platform are in the help box).
- 2Paste them into the picker. It finds each commenter's handle, mentions and text, and shows how many entries it read.
- 3Set the rules: one entry per person, minimum tagged friends, a required keyword or hashtag, and handles to exclude such as your own.
- 4Draw. Winners are revealed one by one with the seed and an audit of what was counted and removed, so you can show the draw was fair.
Frequently asked questions
Does the picker fetch comments from Instagram automatically?
No. It doesn't log in to any platform or scrape anything: you copy the comments from the post and paste them in. That keeps it free, private and within each platform's rules.
How do I know the draw is fair?
Every draw uses your browser's cryptographic random generator to create a seed, then picks winners from the eligible list with an unbiased shuffle. The seed and a fingerprint of the entry list are shown, so anyone can repeat the draw and get the same winners.
How do I copy all the comments from a post?
On a computer, open the post, load all comments (scroll or press “View more”), then drag-select from the first comment to the last and copy. The picker ignores Reply buttons, likes counts and time stamps.
How many entries and winners can I draw?
Free draws pick 1 winner from up to 1,000 eligible entries. Pro draws up to 50 winners plus back-up alternates from up to 50,000 entries and adds a certificate of draw as an image and PDF.
