Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between an invoice and a receipt?
An invoice asks for payment; a receipt confirms you've been paid. Receipts show the date paid and the payment method, and there's no due date or balance on them.
Can I print the receipt on a thermal receipt printer?
Choose the 80 mm receipt roll layout. The PDF is 80 mm wide with a height that fits the content, which most thermal printers print without scaling. Test one first, as printer drivers differ.
What should a payment receipt include?
Your business name and contact details, a receipt number, the date paid, what was bought, the amount, any tax and how it was paid. Add your VAT number if you're registered.
