Rotate PDF pages

Fix sideways or upside-down scans: turn every page of a PDF left, right or 180°, or rotate single pages, then save the corrected file. Only the page's rotation setting changes, so nothing is re-compressed, and the PDF stays in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there no page previews when rotating?

Drawing PDF pages needs a full PDF renderer, which this free tool doesn't load. Pages are listed by number, size and orientation instead, and you can open the original in your browser's own PDF viewer to see which ones need turning.

Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?

No. Rotation is a setting stored with each page; the text and images aren't redrawn or re-compressed, so the file looks exactly as sharp as before.

Will the rotation stay when I open the PDF elsewhere?

Yes. The new rotation is saved in the file, so it opens the right way up in Adobe Reader, Preview, Chrome, Edge and phone apps.
