Sentence case converter
Convert text to sentence case: the first letter of each sentence is capitalised and the rest is lowercase. It's the most natural style for captions, emails, subheadings and UI text, and it fixes text pasted in all capitals.

Frequently asked questions
What is sentence case?
A style where only the first word of a sentence and proper nouns get a capital letter, like normal writing: "How to plan a content calendar".
Should headings use sentence case or title case?
Both are fine; pick one and use it everywhere. Many style guides, including GOV.UK and Google's developer docs, use sentence case because it's easier to read.
Will sentence case keep my brand names capitalised?
It can't know which words are names, so names become lowercase unless they start a sentence. Read through the result and re-capitalise names and acronyms.
