Split PDF pages into separate files
Separate a PDF's pages into individual files, one PDF per page, downloaded together as a ZIP. Or switch to ranges or every N pages to make bigger parts. Useful for scanned batches, statements and multi-page forms, and it all runs in your browser.
How to use the Split PDF
- 1Drop the PDF you want to split.
- 2Choose how: by ranges, every N pages, every page, or extract pages.
- 3Type the ranges or pages, such as 1-3, 4-8, 9- (the dash at the end means "to the last page").
- 4Tap Split: one file downloads directly, several come as a ZIP unless you turn that off.
Frequently asked questions
How do I save one page of a PDF as its own file?
Switch to Extract pages, type the page number (for example 4) and tap Extract: you get a one-page PDF. To save every page separately, use Every page.
How are the split files named?
After the original with the page numbers added, such as report-page-3.pdf or report-pages-4-6.pdf, so they sort in order in your downloads folder.
Can I split a scanned PDF into separate documents?
Yes. If a scanned batch holds several letters, open the original to note where each one starts, then use ranges such as 1-2, 3-5, 6-.
