Website font checker: what font is this site using?

Find the fonts a website uses. We read the font-family rules in its HTML and stylesheets, mark the ones loaded from Google Fonts, and separate real brand fonts from system fallbacks, together with the site's colours.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a font I found on another website?

Check its licence first. Google Fonts are free to use; many other fonts need a paid licence from the foundry, even if a website loads them.

Why doesn't the font checker find a font I can see?

The font may be loaded by JavaScript, set in a stylesheet beyond the two we read, or be part of an image. Your browser's developer tools show the font of any element.

What is a font fallback?

A backup font named after the main one in a font-family list, used while the main font loads or if it fails. Arial, Helvetica and sans-serif are common fallbacks.
