DKIM record checker
Check whether a domain publishes DKIM keys for the common selectors used by Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho, Mailchimp, SendGrid and others, with the key size and a fix when no key is found.
How to use the Email Deliverability Checker
- 1Enter the domain you send email from (or paste an email address).
- 2Read the checks: each one is good, worth improving or a problem to fix, with the exact change to make.
- 3Compare the SPF, DMARC and DKIM records shown with what your email provider asks for.
- 4Make the changes in your DNS settings, wait a few minutes and check again.
Frequently asked questions
What is a DKIM selector?
The name a DKIM key is published under, at selector._domainkey.yourdomain. It's set by your email provider and shown as s= in the DKIM-Signature header of messages you send.
How do I find my DKIM selector?
Open an email you sent, view the original message or headers, and find DKIM-Signature: the value after s= is the selector. Your provider's admin panel shows it too.
Is a 1024-bit DKIM key still safe?
It's still accepted everywhere, but 2048-bit keys are recommended now. Switch when your provider offers it by publishing the new key under a new selector first.
