QR code generator for a URL
Turn any web address into a QR code that opens it in one scan: your website, menu, booking page or a product. Paste the link, check it scans, then download a PNG for print or an SVG for any size. The code never expires.
How to use the QR Code Generator
- 1Choose what the code should open: a link, text, Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
- 2Fill in the details. The preview updates as you type.
- 3Pick colours and, if you like, upload a logo. Error correction is raised automatically so the code still scans.
- 4Test the code with your phone camera, then download it as PNG for print and social, or SVG for any size.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the link after printing the QR code?
Not with a static code: the link is stored in the pattern itself. If you may change it later, point the code at a page you control, such as your link-in-bio page, and change the links there.
Does a longer URL make the QR code harder to scan?
Yes. More characters mean more, smaller squares. Use the shortest link you can, without tracking parameters you don't need, especially for small prints.
Should a URL QR code start with https?
Yes. Include https:// so phones recognise it as a link straight away. The generator adds it when you leave it out.
