Wi-Fi QR code generator
Let guests join your Wi-Fi by pointing their camera at a code instead of typing a long password. Enter the network name and password; the code is made in your browser and works on iPhone and Android.
How to use the QR Code Generator
- 1Choose what the code should open: a link, text, Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
- 2Fill in the details. The preview updates as you type.
- 3Pick colours and, if you like, upload a logo. Error correction is raised automatically so the code still scans.
- 4Test the code with your phone camera, then download it as PNG for print and social, or SVG for any size.
Frequently asked questions
Do iPhones and Android phones scan Wi-Fi QR codes?
Yes. The built-in camera app on iPhone (iOS 11 and later) and on most Android phones recognises Wi-Fi codes and offers to join the network.
What happens to a Wi-Fi QR code if I change my password?
The old code stops working, because the password is stored in the code itself. Make a new code and replace the printed one.
Which security type should I choose for a Wi-Fi QR code?
WPA/WPA2/WPA3 for almost every modern router. Choose WEP only for very old equipment, and No password for open guest networks.
