Frequently asked questions
How does LinkedIn calculate engagement rate?
LinkedIn Page analytics divide interactions (reactions, comments, reposts and clicks) plus follows from the post by impressions. Personal profile analytics show the parts, so add them up and divide by impressions yourself.
What is a good engagement rate on LinkedIn?
Company pages often see around 2–5% by impressions; posts from people usually do better than posts from pages. Compare with your own recent posts, because industry and audience size change it a lot.
Should I count clicks in LinkedIn engagement?
To match LinkedIn's own figure, yes, because it includes clicks. If you compare with other networks that don't report clicks, leave them out and say so.
